Cancel on the wrong platform and the charge keeps running. Here's how to cancel Paramount+ online, on iPhone, Android, Roku, and Amazon in minutes.
Paramount+ has four different billing platforms, and canceling on the wrong one does nothing. If you subscribed through your iPhone, the Paramount+ website won’t show your billing record. If you signed up through Amazon Prime Video Channels, Roku has no trace of your subscription either. The platform you subscribed through controls where you cancel, and they’re completely separate from each other.

To cancel Paramount+, use the same platform you subscribed through. If you signed up at paramountplus.com, cancel at Account settings on that site. iPhone subscribers cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Android subscribers cancel in Google Play. Roku, Amazon, or Apple TV Channel subscribers cancel on those platforms. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
If you signed up directly at paramountplus.com, through a web browser on any device, this is your cancel path.
You’ll get a confirmation email right away. Access continues through the end of your current billing cycle. Nothing gets cut off the moment you hit confirm.
Before you cancel, pull up your next billing date in account settings. Paramount+ bills on the anniversary of when you first subscribed, not on a fixed date like the 1st or 15th of the month. If you paid yesterday for another full cycle, you have weeks of access still coming. If renewal is in two days, canceling now saves you a charge.
Paramount+ launched in March 2021 as a rebranded CBS All Access, which debuted in 2014 as the first major U.S. broadcast network streaming service. By early 2025, Paramount Global reported approximately 77.6 million streaming subscribers worldwide, with the service operating in more than 45 countries. In the United States, two subscription tiers are available: the ad-supported Essential plan at $7.99 per month ($59.99 per year) and Paramount+ with Showtime at $13.99 per month ($99.99 per year), the latter bundling the full Showtime content library after Paramount rebranded the network as a streaming add-on in 2023. Paramount+ carries no cancellation fees. Subscribers can cancel at any time, and access continues through the end of the current billing period. Annual subscribers do not receive prorated refunds for unused months. The service also distributes through third-party billing channels including Apple TV Channels, Amazon Prime Video Channels, and Roku, each of which handles cancellation independently from Paramount’s own account settings.
If your credit card statement shows “APPLE.COM/BILL” next to a Paramount+ charge, Apple is billing you. Canceling at paramountplus.com won’t touch it.
You can also reach subscriptions through the App Store: tap your account icon in the top-right corner, tap your name, then select Subscriptions from the menu that appears.
If Paramount+ doesn’t appear in your Apple subscriptions list, Apple isn’t billing you. Go to paramountplus.com directly or check Google Play instead.
One timing note: Apple processes subscription renewals roughly 24 hours before the actual renewal date. If you’re cutting it close, cancel two or three days early to avoid being charged for another cycle.
Family Sharing adds a wrinkle. If someone in your Apple Family Sharing group purchased the Paramount+ subscription, only the family organizer can cancel it. The subscriber who owns the plan needs to do the cancellation in their own Settings.
Google Play billing typically shows up on your statement as “Google Play” or “GOOGLE *PARAMOUNT.”
If Paramount+ doesn’t appear in Google Play, Google isn’t the biller. Many Android users subscribe directly at paramountplus.com through their browser, which routes billing through Paramount’s own system rather than Google. In that case, cancel at paramountplus.com/account.
Third-party channels each run their own billing systems. Canceling at paramountplus.com or even inside the Paramount+ app won’t stop charges that originated through a different platform.
Roku: On your Roku remote, press the Home button and navigate to Paramount+ on your channel grid. Press the Star (*) button and select Manage subscription, then Turn off auto-renew. Amazon Prime Video Channels: Go to amazon.com, hover over Account & Lists, and select Memberships & Subscriptions. Under Prime Video Channels, find Paramount+ and click Cancel channel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Apple TV Channels: Open the TV app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Tap your account icon and select Manage Subscriptions. Find Paramount+ and cancel from there. This is a separate billing path from a standard App Store subscription, even though the cancel flow looks nearly identical.
Cable and satellite bundles: If Paramount+ is part of an Xfinity, Spectrum, or YouTube TV package, contact your provider directly. The streaming app and the bundled channel are different services linked through your provider’s billing.
The fastest way to confirm who’s billing you: pull up your bank or credit card statement and look at the merchant name next to the Paramount+ charge. “APPLE.COM/BILL,” “Amazon.com,” “Roku,” and “PARAMOUNT+” each point to a different cancel path.
Knowing your plan matters because the two tiers include different content, and the annual plan has a timing catch worth knowing before you pull the trigger.
Paramount+ Essential ($7.99/month or $59.99/year): Ad-supported streaming with access to Paramount+ original series, CBS content, live CBS in select markets (40+ cities), NFL on CBS, and UEFA Champions League. No Showtime content included.
Paramount+ with Showtime ($13.99/month or $99.99/year): Ad-free streaming (except live TV), the full Showtime series library, live CBS with no local blackouts, and Paramount+ originals. Since Paramount rebranded Showtime as a streaming add-on in 2023, this tier added considerable depth for drama and prestige TV fans.
When you cancel either plan, your access runs through the end of your paid period. Your watch history, profiles, and preferences stay linked to your account if you resubscribe later. Nothing gets wiped.
The annual plan catch: Paramount+ doesn’t refund unused months after cancellation. If you’re four months into an annual plan, you keep access through the end of that year but the remaining months of prepaid value don’t come back. If you’re on an annual plan and renewal is coming up in a couple of months, mark your calendar for 7 to 10 days before the renewal date. Cancel then, not now, and you get the full value of what you’ve already paid.
If you’re not ready to leave permanently, check whether a pause option appears during the cancel flow. Paramount+ occasionally offers a 30-day hold before asking for a final confirmation.
Canceling Paramount+ handles this charge. The harder problem is everything else still running in the background: the free trial converting to paid in nine days, the annual plan renewing quietly in three months, the streaming service you added for one series and haven’t opened since.
